I can't believe this!!!! Measurement Changes- HOLY COW!

In August I did Spark People's Push up, Crunch and 3 minute Step test as well as the 1 mile walk as fast as you can.

My results were certainly nothing to be totally ashamed of. I didn't do as well as I remember being able to do back in the day, however 'back in the day' I wasn't overweight and 42 (30.1 BMI)
This month I am STILL 42 and overweight, however my BMI has dropped slightly to 27.6 and I have actually been active daily since those last tests.

1 Minute Push Ups (ladies):

That's a 50% increase.
I went from average to GOOD!! YAY ME!!

That's a 27% increase!
I stayed in the EXCELLENT category.

3 Minute Step Test:

That's down 1.9%
I don't know if that's good but it's better than it was so I shall TAKE IT!!!
I stayed in the ABOVE AVERAGE category...only closer to the lower end so That's a plus.

The 1 mile walk

That's approx 11% decrease in time!!! SUPER...I was thrilled with this!
I went from being at the very top end of GOOD to EXCELLENT!!!

I had measurements taken in August as well:
I don't think my changes were that big, however I shall take them.
I Took Measurement mid July but for some reason I didn't SAVE them in SP...and well, I didn't write them down anywhere so I only have a what I remember.
These measurements will be from the one I actually took in August...if I remember the original measurement I will add it as well.

I definitely remember this one...I started 2 weeks earlier at 43 inches...WOOHOO...

I hate boobs! I think of all the benefits of weight loss this is what I look forward to most. I have NEVER liked having them. The boob fairy visited when I was pregnant for my son and they never left!

That's a grand total of 16 inches GONE since the AUgust weigh-in...that doesn't included the 2 weeks PRIOR.

This is so exciting!!!
It's hard to believe....

I just hope I can keep making big changes, I find things slowing down lately. I feel a plateau coming on. Gotta find ways to shake things up and get more strength training in...That is definitely an area I need improvement in!!

    PS: I am another one who loves to see my boobies shrink with weight loss. The ta-ta fairy visited me when I was a young teen, and I think I was left with another woman's share as well as mine. LOL

    Keep up the good work, awesome progress !!!

    It is good to be using other measurements besides the scale, all those inches add up to big changes and much more satisfaction. Sometimes the scale doesn't change for a long time, but the inches come off and the fat% goes down, there is so much more to the picture than the number on the scale.

    CONGRATS! Its crazy you dont know how much weight you are actually losing until you look at the measurements. For me its how my clothes fit. I have only lost 6# so far, but my clothes are fitting so much better and I can wear clothes that i havent worn in a while. Hooray for you! Good job!!!! emoticon
