Getting Back "On Track"

So, yeah, second blog entry today, because I wanted to record that, yes, I DID get exercise today! emoticon

I walked to the grocery store, as I intended to, and got more than just the water. I also got some seltzer water & Diet Rite (because soda is my worst weakness, and I can at least feel less guilty with a half & half mixture of seltzer water & Diet Rite -- no calories & no sodium), and some salad with kefir-base bleu cheese dressing. The creamy dressings are my thing, but these kefir-base ones are my new favorite -- half the fat & calories of the normal creamy dressing, but they taste exactly the same.

So, in the backpack I dragged with me, I took home the seltzer water, Diet Rite, salad mix & dressing, with the 2 gallons of water in each hand. I used to be able to do this, no sweat. I realized just how out of shape I've gotten. This little walk had me sweating like mad -- sooo not good.

On the up-side, I got 4 servings of water along the way because I brought water bottles with me.

Thanks to everyone who left comments on my last blog entry, it was extra motivation to actually get out the door and make that walk. emoticon

I DID IT! I just need to KEEP doing it, every day. lol
