Kicking Myself...

Saturday, September 11, 2010

Yes, kicking myself... that's what I'm doing. I haven't been tracking my food, I haven't been drinking enough water, and I haven't been getting any exercise. I'm up 20 pounds & two pants sizes & I'm totally irritated at myself for letting this happen. I knew I was gaining weight & was afraid to get on the scale to see just how much, but when I finally did I knew I had to get back on track. 199 lbs... I do not want to hit the 200 mark ever again, so now is the time for me to get back on track.

I could use some supportive words from my lovely spark friends. To be honest, the lack of exercise has made me lethargic & depressed, which is just a recipe for continuing to put off the exercise even more. My plan for today is to walk to the grocery store, buy two gallons of distilled water & walk home with them in my hands. Hopefully the necessity of the errand & the added benefit of saving gas will get my butt in gear to do it. lol

Hi Kristal. I'm also up 20 pounds since January, and I'm struggling with getting back on track. The important thing is we recognize it, we STOP the destructive behaviors, and we START the healthy ones again. (So bye bye Oreos... LOL)

I'm going to blog tomorrow after I take some time to think tonight.

Good luck!! You can do it!!

Anything you need Krysal just ask. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Don't kick yourself for too long or as a mater of fact don't kick yourself at all. Just pick yourself up with baby steps first (like you did by walking to the store and carrying home 2 gallons of water) then come the bigger steps. One foot in front of the other my friend. You can do it. You have my support and prayers. Hugs Lynne emoticon emoticon emoticon
