Food Blog for a postitive day!

So it all started off with an early morning hike with one of my teacher friends who sadly no longer works at my school (NOT FAIR). We did a 40 minute hike, and burned an estimated 315 calories.

I was feeling good about myself, but needed a little caffeine boost since I didn't sleep well last night (SIMBA!!!) and I had a lot of work I wanted to get acccomplished (LESSON PLANS!) I stopped at starbucks and got the toffee mocha (skim with no whip) =170 calories, the black forest ham and cheese sandwich = 360 and paired it with some grapes I had at home = 60 calories.

my version of a sexy breakfast = 590 calories (YUM)

then i am off to the library to get my work done - found a new library with a great view of the surrounding woods, and very quiet. Worked there for 2 or 3 hours and snuck eating a Nutrigrain bar (130 calories)

Then it's time for lunch. I stop at this fancy supermarket that has a hot/cold buffet. So I got a combination of two salads - greek salad and pasta salad = 294 calories

I'm supposed to be going bouldering later, but I'm getting hungry. I attempt to only have half a luna bar, but it didn't happen. 180 calories of special glycemic to get me thru

Bouldering - estimated at 370 calories, but i'm not sure, because we didn't push ourselves that hard...

then sushi dinner 613 calories

the two rolls i had were really yummmy - tuna, whitefish and apple (New York roll) and spicy tuna with avocado on top, also had edamame, green tea, miso soup, soy sauce.

then, because i had a craving i got some cheetos (320 calories) and paired it with reduced fat sour cream (94 calories) (don't ask - i don't know why)

Although I ended the day with 2200 calories, I don't feel disgusting ( I think it's because I worked out twice today, which rarely happens - 685 calories)

Fat - 67 A LIL HIGH
Carb - 245 OK
Protein - 80 GOOD
Fiber - 19 not horrible, but will be better with metamucil later
Sodium - 3000 BAD

    I Like your blog entry! I've been using the SP food tracker, because I have to print one out of each day of the week for my irl wl group (tops), and I really like that it tells me all the nutrients for a lot of things and at least the cals/carbs/fat/protein for lots of different foods.

    if you're a dork, there are lots of us around! lol
    and, good job on the exercise!
