I'm challenging myself to eat 100% vegan for 2 weeks. I started yesterday and it went really well. I've pretty much planned all my meals out for the next 2 weeks to make it easier on myself and I'm actually surprised at how many options there are when giving up all animal products. It should be noted, that I'm not doing this because of any issues I have with eating meat, or with anyone else eating meat, I'm just doing it as a tool to help me achieve healthier eating goals. While I'm only on day 2, I feel pretty good about completing this. Maybe it will put me on the path to a much needed change in my eating habits!
Now for the exersise, that I'm just not doing so well at. I really don't know what the issue is or why I cannot find the necessary motivation to get started. It's funny, because 3 years ago, I would have NEVER missed a day of doing some form of exersise. I actually used to spend 2 hours working out 4 days a week and 60 minutes the other 3 days. Now I'm lucky if I manage an hour a week. I know this is such an important factor is reaching my goals, but there just seems to be some excuse every day to not make it happen. Hopefully today will be different!
