MY BLC for BLC14 Round

1. Stop making Excuses: Currently I make several excuses" I don't have time to work out, I don't feel like cooking, I don't want to eat another frozen dinner, I hate water, etc, etc. I want to begin to stop making excuse and create healthy alternatives. I will try at least one new recipe a week. This will help with the food boredom. I need to workout at least six days a week even if it's twenty to thirty minutes. I need consistency, otherwise I'll make an excuse why not to workout the next day and anyone has time for a thirty minute workout. For crying out loud I have an elliptical in my bedroom and several dvds.
2. I need to take care of me. I often will go out of my way to help others, but when I'm in need no one is there. It's fine to help others, but not at the expense of overly extending myself. I need to get a little better at saying NO. I'm definitely on my way, but it needs some improvement. I'm not a crier, but a situation happened the other day with my sister, I was so upset I actually teared up. Then a began to think about it. Why are you letting her get you so upset when she's not giving a second thought to you or your feelings. Just let it go, take it as a lesson learned in dealing with selfish personalities and move on. Often times I'll accept behaviors from family that I would never accept from anyone else and the crap needs to stop. I'm an emotional and I don't enjoy begin in that negative head space.
3. THE NUMBERS!!!
I would like to drop twenty to thirty pounds during this challenge. I think that's a realistic range and I'll be well on my way to my goal of 140lbs!!!
4. DON'T QUIT!!!
I will remain committed. I will not punish myself for mistakes or stumbles made, instead I'll pick myself back up and correct the problem during the next meal instead of the following Monday. I will be more active to assist in the potential roadblocks. I will attend Zumba on both Saturday and Sunday and at least once during the week, other than that I can work from home.
I LOOK FORWARD TO MY SUCCESS AND THE SUCCESS OF OTHERS DURING THIS CHALLENGE!!!! WE CAN AND WILL DO IT!!!
