GOYAAM #1: Move it for 300 minutes/week
This month's plan is to not just move it, but move it HARD! I can walk and walk for ages, but I really need to increase the intensity. So I'm using Self Magazine's September cardio plan for variable intensity that I can see, measure & feel! Walking, hiking, jogging, the Firm video, and even jumping rope!
And to hold it all together, I'll need pilates and ST 2-3 times/week too.
GOYAAM #2: Custom nutrition goal. Mine is to drink ALL 8 glasses of water every day, and stay within the weekly calorie range.
Doing this by substituting tea for coffee, filling my water bottle as soon as it's empty, and TRACKING what I eat. Oh, and now that the family birthdays are over for awhile, no more cake this month! I deserve to lose weight more than I deserve the pastry!
GOYAAM #3: Connect with SP people. So I'm checking out your pages! ;)
The day off: If I don't plan one, it will happen to me anyway. So I am going in knowing that there will be 1 day/week when GOYAAM is little more than my dog walk, and that will be ok.
I feel like I really need to make progress this month. I spent the first 2/3rds of my summer healing, and now finally feel functional. It's as if my mental health now depends on making some results happen!
