Labor Day Weekend

Sunday, September 05, 2010

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day weekend. This morning I went to my 3rd Weight Watcher meeting and I loss .8 pound. This wasn't much, but it was better than gaining. After the meeting I picked up my mom to stay with me for a week. We stopped at one of my favorite restaurants for a late lunch, early dinner. We both had a bowl of clam chowder and baby green salad which had raisins, walnuts, small little dried cranberries and crumbled blue cheese. It was so good. Of course I had to get a slice of their chocolate cake to bring home. We shared it 3 ways so it wasn't all that bad. I could have ate the whole thing. :) I haven't used any of my weekly points yet or all my daily points. I know as I lose weight, my daily allowed points will go down so I should take advantage of it while I can.
Off to the gym tomorrow and Monday.

    Hi there,
Any loss is better than a gain and a pound gone is a wonderful thing. I have been thinking about going back to Weight Watchers with my daughter. It was a good private time for us and adds yet another way for me to be accountable into the mix. I am glad that I read your blog. The only thing that worries me is if it would take away my spark time with journaling points again. I don't know, if it keeps me in line, I think it is worth it.

Congratulations on your success--both at the scale and at the restaurant. You made some very healthy (and tasty) choices. good for you!!
