Is it really possible that I can see a difference in my body after only ONE week of working out regularly? I've been a member of SparkPeople since May but I was doing the workout stuff my own way and using the website to track it. However, I've recently started implementing some of the information I've picked up from the site and the book. This week I've worked out several times (somedays, only doing a ten minute "Spark workout") and I think I can see a change in my legs and tummy.
I only have a few pound to lose and my main goal (for the first time ever!) is to move towards a healthier lifestyle, BUT it's so awesome that I think I can tell a visible change in my physique! And even if there is no such difference and it's all in my imagination, it's a great incentive to keep up the work. It's strange that when I let go of obsessing about trimming down and instead begin to focus on having a healthy lifestyle, I move towards all the goals- old and new!
I'm excited to see what's going to happen next. I'm experiencing success in incorporating fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts, and lean meat into my diet. This program has encouraged me to make small consistent changes and I love the support I've received while I've been making my slow progress. I do well when I'm able to move at my own pace and SparkPeople allows that!!!
