Going The Mile

Friday, September 03, 2010

I know that we all have times in our lives when we feel that we can't put one foot in front of the other well that's how I feel that my year has been. During the month of February my dad died. It was the one of the hardest times in my life. I know that he in now in heaven without having any more pain but there are days that I really wish he was still here. I would love to see his smiling face and the twinkle in his eyes when all of us are together.
Now that I think(maybe) that I have my act back together to get back on here on
SP and lose the weight that I set out to lose months ago. So now I'm back with my game face on ready to drop the extra pounds. So if there's anyone out that that can lend me a hand or two even maybe an ear to get me back on track. Drop me a line or two cause I can use help.
May everyone here on SP have a blessed day. Take care and keep smiling.

Your dad will always be in your heart. But now you have to concentrate on you. Your health and well being needs to be your priority. I'm sure your family and friends need you here, healthy and happy. Because you are as important to them as he was to you. Welcome back and good luck on your journey. emoticon

My father loved me, in his own way but because I never felt he loved me unless I acted the way he expected when he died, I really crashed. (therapy said I would never get his approval now w/him dead) anyway---I remember grieving my father......for a long time. It is a loss and you should miss him and grieve.
Kudos to you for getting back on track and caring about you enough to do this for yourself. You can be successful. Set your goals so you know where you are going. Blog and read sp when you can and commit to this. I, will be glad to be an ear, a support and a caring SP friend. Hugs, Brenda from Missouri. (ps I was successful and reached my goal wt but regained some and working on it again. I forget you never get MAGIc and able to eat how we did before)
