I've been having PT for some pain and tingling in my right arm. The stretching and exercises have helped, and I don't have the pain and tingling anymore. However, my shoulders and first rib are still very tight and sore, and I know that causes much of my pain.
Today, my therapist had me start with some exercises: an arm bike for six minutes (3 in each direction) and 3 sets of 10 seated rowing lifts of 40 lbs. Then he did some stretching on my first rib/pectoral muscles. Next he used ultrasound on my right shoulder for awhile, and then we finished with a few minutes of heat (my favorite part). I just have to remember to keep doing my stretches, and I know it will help my pain overall.
