Well, yesterday I had my weigh-in at WW, where I went from 171.6 to 168.4, SO happy!!
All day long, I came up with so many excuses as to why I didn't feel like running with the Tuesday Night Running Group (i.e. my running partner who is slower like me wasn't going to be there, my shin was aching, I was hungry, etc. etc.). I even put a dress on for the weigh-in, so then I couldn't run! Five minutes before leaving, I changed into my running outfit, so then I would really WANT to run, and not have another excuse.
So, I did run, and ran 5 miles! I ran with Mike and Jeff, and they actually went my pace, which was nice. I felt really good, and had a nice dinner.
Today, I had a lot of fruit, a steak, tons of veggies, soup, and some fruit snacks :o}
I took a day off from running/cross training. I still walked, but throttled back on everything else!
So glad it is a new month!! I hope to do much better this month with my weight loss, but I will be happy with whatever happens as long as I give it my all! (or at least 90% LOL).
