~ I planned my meals about 75% of the time, and this definitely has room for improvement.
~ Continue drinking at least 8 glasses of water, more on days I run. TOTALLY did this 100% of the time.
~ Try a new recipe every week to shake it up! Ugh...I so did NOT complete this!
~ Get back on track with my Half Marathon training, though modifying it to reflect 3-4 days of running per week rather than 4-5. I would like to achieve 60 miles of running this month!
I am seriously on track with my HM training, averaging 4 days of running. I ran 58 miles this month, which isn't bad considering I was out more than 1 week because of injury!
~ Do the spinning class 2-4 days a week depending on the run schedule. DONE!!!!
~ ST 3 days a week, either via Cycle and Sculpt (Mondays and Wednesdays) or through Nautilus equipment. DONE!!!
~ Work in some form of core strengthening/abs work 3-4 days a week. I averaged this 2 days a week rather than 3-4. ROom for improvement!
~ Take 1-2 FULL days off from working out so as to avoid overtraining/injuries. DONE!!
~ Lose 5-10 pounds!! Ugh..Not done. I lost 2.4 pounds this month, which is my lowest yet.
~ Run a 10K on August 17 and walk the 2-mile Stroll for Epilepsy with my daughter, my friend, and her son with epilepsy in Fargo on August 12.
I did the Stroll for Epilepsy, but didn't complete the 10K because I was injured at the time.
~ Pay off 1 or 2 credit cards. Not done, but we did refinance our mortgage, moving from 6.75% to 3.87% and from 30 years to 15!
~ Put in 5-10 overtime hours a week while offered if you feel able to achieve this. This wasn't offered as much this month since we got caught up!
~ Work on incentive pay (extra pay when productivity is higher than expected). UGH...My focus on my work was horrific this month. A TON of room for improvement.
~ Be motivated by the fact that you will be going to Miami, FL with another couple in February, and you want to be SMOKING hot in a monokini by then!!! (SIGH) We are NOT going to Miami in February after all (DH found out he won't be able to take the time off). We WILL be going to Fort Myers, FL, though after the marathon in May.
~ Try on a size 8 :o}. I did this, and it buttoned and zipped...AFTER sucking my tummy in like crazy!
~ Buy a cute pair of undies (thong?) every week. I didn't do this, mainly because sometimes I feel bad spending money on myself.
~ New handbag when you get under 170? I didn't have the chance to do this since I wasn't under 170 until a couple of days ago. I did buy myself a new handbag, though, a few weeks ago because it was on clearance ;o}
~ Buy that book. Oy...NOT done. I need this, though!
~ Realize that I am human, and try hard to reach and exceed your goals, but do NOT be discouraged when you falter...After all, you do work full time, you have an almost 13-month-old daughter, and have many responsibilities outside of this. :o} I feel I did a pretty good job of this!
Now, onto my goals for September!!!!
