    I use the 'I'll try' exuse all the time when I know I'm not going to do it and don't want to discuss it .... looks like I've been found out.

    "I'll try" can be an excuse for not doing something we don't feel like doing, but know we should. "I try to go for a walk." "I'll try to prepare healthy meals today.", etc. In the end, we really do make a choice to do or not do. "I will walk 10,000 steps today!", and then we do it or don't do it. This is a good reminder of personal responsibility for our choices. Thx.
