One Day Back

Monday, August 30, 2010

OK...this is my first day of returning to honesty with tracking and reading motivational material. It is early in the day, but I am feeling strong. Reading articles is a huge motivater for me.

I walked 4.8 miles this morning, did my strength and have eaten healthily. My calories are actually low, but I will fix that so that I don't go overboard later.

I did the toddler lessons for 2 of my grands. Letter B this week. If you need any help with that letter... I suggest coloring a picture of one. B is for bear, broccoli, bat and butterfly.

My goals for the remainder of the day is to do some laundry, organize some room in my house and clean my kitchen and have a nice devotional time.

What an inspiring blog, Sherry! You're really doing a great job, staying focused on your goals. emoticon

We did the "Letter of the Week" when my children were younger. They LOVED it! Sure is a fun way for children to learn. Another idea: You might want to set aside one day this week as "Blue day" and have everyone wear a blue shirt, etc. Just another way to add emphasis to the letter "B".

emoticon on the progress you're making!
