I signed up for some yoga classes today

Yes, I said I've never done yoga and that I wanted to try. So I signed up for a couple of classes at the Community College. First class is in two weeks. I'm very curious.

My day went well. I survived the church picnic. It was the usual fare: burgers, hot dogs, apple pie. So, I only had a couple of cups of coffee there and ate lunch when I got home. Neither burgers nor hot dogs sounded good.

I tracked all my food today & easily stayed within my range.
Also managed to get a 40 minute walk in. Nobody should work too hard on a Sunday :)

Tomorrow's lunch is brown-bagged and in the fridge, ready to grab in the morning. I love it, when I'm organized and motivated.

    Here's hoping you have a good instructor and a style that agrees with what you want out of fitness as well as life. My own yoga journey is on hold while I get my butt kicked regularly by Shaun T!

    I'm proud of you for taking steps towards your goals. Now if only I could do that. Not eating at the church picnic? awesome. i myself walked 45 min. and called it a day. Sunday's are suppose to be a day of rest. Now today back to it.

    Will be interested to hear about your yoga experience. I enjoy some of it, but it's always something I kind of put on the back burner when sports, running or other outdoor activities come up. I wonder if I'll find more time for it in the winter.

  sounds like you had a great day! i hope you enjoy the yoga i love it it is good exercise especially if you have bad joints or just don't do well with aerobic type exercise it also helps your flexibility and strengths the long lean muscles in your body to make you look longer and leaner it is also good for your mind to help you focus in life. good luck with it,
