What a great week I had. Walked my 3 miles 6 days this week, so today I am resting my weary arthriic old knees, and ankles, and back, and elbows. lol Actually I am feeling physically and emotionally excellent. It is amazing how when you are feeling bad everything else around you feels "bad" too. Feeling better makes all those bad things around me seem less significant. AND since I'm not so cranky and miserable, everyone else around me isn't so cranky and miserable either. Life is good. I will add another 1/2 mile to my walks tomorrow. Good thing I live in a huge neighborhood, I can add mileage without retracing my steps and keep from getting bored walking the same route all the time. I also have become one of the "part time vegetarians". I usually pick 2 or 3 days where I don't eat any meat. It's not as hard as I thought because I do love meat. I just load up on whole wheat pasta, beans, sweet potatoes, and veggies. I never feel hungry and I have to say, my...um...... commode visits are way more productive those days. Weigh in tomorrow, I am hoping the scale will not have to strain as much, maybe even get down in the "50's" I am sooooo close right now at the "61" mark. I love it when I get down to the next set of 10's. One of my goals is to be down to "55" by time I go back to the doc on Sept 28. I feel pretty confident that will happen. Besides, I AM the one in charge!!!
