Almost out of the Big O and a WHOA moment for myself!

.8 pounds, yes JUST .8 pounds and I will no longer be in the Obese category of BMI! To say I am so happy of that is bitter sweet, as I never even thought I would be IN that category!

I have learned so much lately about my body, exercising, and health. My kids are really starting to pay attention to food and exercise and just an all around healthy lifestyle.

I never thought I would look forward to exercising! That these horrible stress headaches I get from my drama filled work environment go away once I come home and exercise!

This has been such an incredible start to such an incredible journey! I can't wait to blog a year from now, a lot healthier and happier!

Today at work there were Krispy Kreme donuts (a new store just opened up in town), Dunkin Donuts and goodies from Panera. While I DID eat half a cinnamon chip scone, I immediately felt yucky after. The old me would have eaten at least two donuts in the first hour of work, let alone who knows how many more during the rest of the day- but I didn't! I'm so proud of myself, no donuts for me today! Not to say I won't ever eat one, but by the end of the day, I couldn't wait until they were all gone because I was sick of looking at them, not because I wanted one, but because the thought of all the sugar and fat make me sick to my stomach. That was a big WHOA moment for me!!

    Good for you! I bring my lunch and eat in my office. I stay out of the break room (where the junk food and 'goodies' are), except to get my mail, and make an occasional photocopy. It has been ages since I had a donut, but the last time was disappointing in how much I thought I would enjoy it (stale and greasy), not to mention how bad that stuff is for us!

    Yay for jogging! My knees are pretty unhappy with me, hopefully losing will help that! I'm impressed! You go girl, see what you can do?!!!!!

    I love those WHOA moments it really does show you just how much you have progressed. I just had one tonight on my 45min brisk walk when I randomly broke out into a jog...a jog! For me that was huge and I was able to jog a lot longer than I ever thought possible...

    so congratulations!! Sometimes free food at work is the hardest temptation to overcome! You're doing great! Keep it up!
