Thank you SO much, MOVINITMORE, for posting this....I'm borrowing it for myself!!
I love challenges, and joining the Periwinkles was the best thing I could have done!
RESULTS FROM SUMMER CHALLENGE 10 weeks
WEIGHT LOSS- 25.6 Pounds
Total Cardio Minutes- 5182
Total Strength Training Minutes- 1125
GOALS FOR FALL CHALLENGE 10 weeks
TO loss 15 pounds (to get to my GOAL FRICKIN' WEIGHT!!!!)
Cardio Minutes- 5400 with running (especially training for the HM in October), spinning as my crosstraining. Walking my dog. A LOT.
Strength Minutes- 900 with ST during spinning on Cycle and Sculpt days plus Spark's suggested ST. Nautilus 2 days a week.
Total Running MILES- 305 is what is on my calendar, but goshdarnit I'll be happy with 250 (this is, of course, if there is no injury or such).

I really need to bring the focus I had in the last challenge as I did so much better than I expected! I lost 25.6 pounds in that challenge and, though I have ONLY!! 15 pounds left to lose to hit my goal weight, I know that this will be a VERY tough 15 pounds to lose (as noted by the fact that I am up 3 pounds from the last day of the summer challenge).
And...MOVINITMORE, you motivate ME! You just ROCKED the 5K's you have been participating in, and I am so jealous that are doing the Space Coast 15K. You must live in FL. If you do, double jealous here ;o} And, if you really really live there, one day we will HAVE to do a half or a full together down there!!! (Well, we don't HAVE to..but wouldn't that be a ton of fun???). I love vacationing in Orlando and Daytona Beach....
