First Video Blog!

This is my first video blog entry. I decided on a video blog and I would love use this as tool to help me with my weight loss and share my story (or begining of my story) with people :)

I started SparkPeople for the same reason. Iím almost two months into the Pre-surgery classes and one month fully dedicated to SparkPeople. This Sunday marked a month and so far I have lost 20lbs. My advice would be to stay active on the site. When I get down on myself or feel like going off plan I tent to view others V-blog. This helps me to get refocused on my goals. I also join challenges to keep my self accountable.

    Hey Tasha! Welcome to video blogging! I understand the sabotage and morivation thing. I worked for Jenny Craig for 6 years and still have issues motivating myself.

    I know you can get rid of those 150 pounds without surgery. I started out with SparkPeople needing to lose 119 pounds and I am already down 35ish within my first 6 months. It could've been more but I kinda got of track there for a couple of months but I'm back on now and doing great. I really recommend you read The Spark by Chris Downie and do your Fast Break week. It makes things so much easier and the Fast Break gives you soooo much confidence. My advice to you is give yourself a year to try and lose the weight the healthy way before your go under the knife. If you follow the advice of the awesome people on here you WILL lose that weight for good!
