So today's been a ho-hum day so far (it's only about an hour into it'll get better from here!) At first, I was kind of bummed about my weigh-in this morning but I realized that I have lost about 1/2 lb, not so bad! I've been working out a lot this week, trying to get back into the groove, and results aren't going to happen overnight. I've been getting a couple hundred calories too many some nights, mostly from having a couple drinks and late-night snacks, so I need to take it easy in that regard this coming week.

I'm taking a long weekend this weekend before school starts. I'll be out until Wednesday. I'm hoping that I can use my time off to make wise decisions when it comes to eating and that I don't pig out all weekend. I should use the time to make myself some tasty meals because I've been on such a cooking kick lately! NO DESSERTS THOUGH. I've been wanting to bake ever since I baked some cookies for a friend's was so fun and so delicious!

So, I have most of my plans for this weekend figured out. Today, since Cory and I are both getting out of work this afternoon, he's going to grill us some bratwurst for dinner. I'm having a zucchini/summer squash side, it should be delicious! I just thought to grill it on skewers...I'm going to have to remember that, haha! As for tonight, I have no idea what we're going to do between dinner and doing our usual Friday thing. I was thinking of getting the grocery shopping done, but I may put it off until Tuesday...
A small goal of mine tonight is to do C25K, W5D3 and complete it! It's a full 20 minute jog. I think I'll be able to accomplish it once I get in the mindset that it's a 20 minute workout, much like I'm already used to. If I'm feeling well afterwards, I'm planning on doing some hip exercises that I downloaded yesterday, since my hips have been feeling weak since I began running frequently.
Saturday...Cory doesn't work until 2 so I'm sure we'll make breakfast together or something. Something HEALTHY! :| haha. After that I don't know that I plan to do! I want to skim my Anatomy book sometime before the semester starts, just to get familiar with the text. Hopefully, my math textbook will arrive in the mail and I can skim over that, too. I want to work out Saturday, too...but its too early to plan what kind of workout mood I'll be in ;)
Sunday will be fun. Cory has Sunday off, and a tattoo appointment at 5pm. We're going to to go shopping during the clothes shopping, my fave! Cory's going to school too this Fall so that give him an excuse to shop ;) Finally! He needs new clothes :P Maybe Cory and I will go for a bike ride or something later that night, who knows?
Monday, Cory and I have a ton of plans as well. We both have the day off so again, another day to make breakfast. We're going to go to the Aquarium in downtown during the day, since we received a 50% off admission postcard in the mail! I've wanted to go for a loooong time too, so this worked out perfectly! Monday night, Cory and I are redeeming a gift card he received for his birthday for a restaurant in downtown. It's Greek food, it'll be delicious! 1/2 off bottles of wine at this place on Mondays, too! I think I'll probably get lamb kebobs, but I'm not too sure! I could still change my mind.
I am the only one with Tuesday off, and I don't know what I'm planning on doing yet. I may finish some things off my "To Do"'s more like a self-"Honey-Do" list but I guess it doesn't really matter. I have a lot to do, nonetheless.

So this upcoming 4 days should be a lot of fun! I can't wait, I've been looking forward to this weekend since I asked for it off about 3-4 weeks ago! I need to stay focused, get some exercise, and not pig out all weekend! Some treats are good (See's Candies at the mall on Sunday!!) but I'm not going to get out of control!

Don't worry about w5d3, it is the last long run until w7. I am w7d3 and find that the 25 min runs are not as bad as I thought. The first one is in w6 but was definitely prepared and it went great. Now I don't even notice the length of time. Good luck with your time off and hope your plans go the way you want. I am going to run my first 5k in either Sept or October, No plans on winning it just to run it.
As I always say how many people you know can run 10-25 min without stopping? Not many. Keep up the good work
