60,000-79,999 SparkPoints

I hit 50 000 Sparkpoints this morning!

Thursday, August 19, 2010

It sure took me a long time to get to 50 000 Spark points, years, but with periods of inactivity on Spark that I now regret. I could have done it faster.

You get a really pretty little gold trophy with rainbow colored stars shooting out the sides of it for 50 000 points though!

Over the course of these 50 000 points, I have learned a lot of new health info from all of the articles I have read which is on e of my favorite points.

Also a lot of activity miles walked.

I'm not sure there is another trophy though which is kind of a shame because I liked working up to it.

So, I'll have to start counting them on my own now.

A nice surprise this am which has been a long time coming!

CONGRATULATIONS! I agree, it's time for more trophies for higher points... There's one more, a trophy with a crown at 60K points, but I do like that 50K trophy with the rainbow stars.

I remember very clearly when I crossed 20K - I was SO PROUD! I got my DD and DH, and told them to watch: I did something for one point and watched it turn from 19,999 to 20,000... I can still remember how great it felt! And it seems like not THAT long ago either.

What makes me the happiest of all is knowing what my Sparkpoints represent: A whole new lifestyle that is giving me a rich and full life, and the probability of a healthy future watching my grandchildren grow up... Plus, I LOVE being able to give Goodies and not having to worry about points!

HAVE FUN! emoticon

emoticon That is fantastic! Just keep working at this. I'm no where near my goal, but I keep at it each day, even when my son had Testicular Cancer and I watched myself regain pounds and then get back on track and then have a Gallbladder mess with surgery and regain again. So, now I'm 10# away from being down where I was before, which is frustrating, but I know that if I didn't stay at it, I'd be back up and probably past the 214# where I was when I started Sparks. You are right that all the articles and reinforcement for good living makes a difference. I'm reading "The BECK Diet Solution" as Judith Beck, PhD teaches how to think like a thin person. I got the book at the library and recommend it to everyone.

    Ughhh . . . . . I just checked my SparkPoints. .... only have 19 thousand plus odd points . . . . not even 20,000. It's gonna be a LONG, LONG time before I get to your level.

Boy! I'm even MORE IMPRESSED now about your milestone accomplishment than before!

    Bravo! Congratulations!
Ok, now you've got me curious & motivated to try and get a pretty trophy like that too. The level I am at currently has these ugly color bars one on top of the other...... I miss the trophies.

Hugs & Congratulations again!!
