So I sucked it up and did P90x yesterday when I woke up and I am so glad that I did. I absolutely loved it!! It was all upper body, which is my favorite type of strength training. It was wonderful b/c there were NO push-ups (which I absolutely hate) and I feel like I accomplished something. Tomorrow I am going to move onto day 4 and keep doing it every other day. I am not going to strickly follow the program or I will get burned out, but I am going to incorporate it into my workout.
Today I went to the park and ran 1 mile. I figure 1 mile is better than none. I then did interval training. I did about 4.75 miles today. My leg feels pretty good which is a bonus, but I can't push it! I am going to try and incorporate interval training into my workouts.
I go back to work on Thursday and I am not looking forward to it. Everyone else starts next Tuesday, but I have to go back early b/c they are implementing a new math program into the elementary and middle schools so I now have to be trained!! Middle school be damned :) I keep telling myself that I have a job and that is all that matters. I am still teaching math which is a good thing, but I do have to get to know the new curriculum and rely on other teachers for help! Good thing for me I have no trouble asking someone for help!
