I'm working on increasing produce intake and have had recent success by making smoothies and eating a tomato and lettuce/spinach salad before lunch and/or supper. My smoothies have fresh/frozen fruit, yogurt, and juice or low-calorie drink in them. The salads are easy to turn into a meal with a can of tuna or deli meat and shredded cheese. I'm making slow progress in the area of health and of course struggling a bit here and there.
My next personal goal is to increase my activity level. I'm using Spark People and The Spark (the book) and making these tools work for my life and schedule. Although I'm moving slowly, I think I tend to make more long-term changes if they aren't all made at once! I'm now working towards 30 minutes each day and hope to one day achieve 60 minutes per day! :)
