Today I went to synagogue twice, which meant the extra food. They have these smiley face cookies at the kiddush after the morning service that I absolutely LOVE. I ate half of one (they are conveniently broken in half for me), and it was sugary and sure, I would have loved to have more, but one half was enough! (I also had a strawberry. Yum!) Then I went home and had my regular lunch for the diet. My family went back in the evening. To make sure I wouldn't overindulge, I had half of my dinner, and saved the rest of my room for food there, and it worked! I can wait to log my weight tomorrow on SP and see if I lost the 5 lbs in 5 days. I am so close!

One thing that I did today was officially (well, to myself, at least) confirm my long-term weight loss goals. I would like to be in the 115 lb to 125 lb range...so averaging around 120 lbs would be pretty good! For now, I'm keeping my weight ticker at 125, to psych myself up! It would be great to reach that weight by the time I go back to school (Sept 5), but if I'm able to get to 130lbs by then (at the very least), I would be okay with that as well.

    kiddush and oneg -- always a challenge! I skipped the Friday oneg as completely as possible, though it can be difficult to leave or just sip water. Sometimes I've tried to encorporate it into the calorie total, but it is definately a detour for you diet plan. Sometimes the body knows just what to do with detours though.
