First, I'll write about dinner last night. We ended up at Texas Land and Cattle. My grilled chicken salad aspirations went out the window when I saw the smoked sirloin and LOBSTER special. I LOVE lobster! So I got the special with baked sweet potato and a garden salad. I had a very small piece of sourdough bread. My only problem was I forgot to ask for the cinnamon butter for my potato on the side...so I scraped out as much as a could...man that stuff is yummy! I ate about 4 oz. of sirloin, 3 oz. of lobster and about 1/4 of the potato. Not too bad, especially comparing to how I used to eat. So all in all, I was over my calorie target by about 250 calories...and it was New Year's Eve.
Today, I've done my Turbo workout, had a healthy breakfast and fruit. I just finished putting away all of the Christmas decorations, so I don't have that "to do" item weighing me down anymore. I still haven't planned meals yet. I really need to but seem to be procrastinating. Then I need to go grocery shopping. Happy New Year!
