Better late than never

I made this early this morning, it's a bit intense, but still good... :)

  yea I use to do this til I found melatonin from the dollar store it so puts me to sleep. I have to change my sleep I and sleep in new locations. I did travel nursing 4 years I learned I have to change locations and work new cities etc. it so works.

    Hey, So sorry to hear that you can't sleep. I struggle with insomnia too. Sometimes I'll take a mild sleep aid, but I try to avoid those as much as I can. I also try to read before I go to sleep and that helps me wind down.

Hope everything goes well at the doctor today.

    I didn't really hear anger in your voice, I heard frustration. And having your body keep you up is completely different than you keeping your body up, so cut yourself some slack! That's an order!

    Boy can I relate! It is frustrating. When that happens to me, I start reading something. Always makes me sleepy. I also take Melatonin occasionally. That really helps. Best of luck to you!

    I so know what you mean! (As you can see, I'm awake, too!) Try not to drive yourself crazy by figuring out why you can't sleep -- (it's easier not to breathe, I know); instead try different things that might help. Your blog was an awesome idea ... to get suggestions from others!

What kind of books do you like to read? Sometimes that helps. I just downloaded a sound-machine app on my phone & hit play last night after I shut out the light. It must've worked b/c I don't remember tossing and turning! In the past, I've also tried (with success) deep relaxation CDs.
