about 1/2 mile! I was all set for my run last night and I was going to do 1/2 mile, walk 3 min, 3/4 mile, walk 3 min, 1/2 mile. I had started walking after my first 1/2 mile and I looked down and my garmin was dead. It's my fault...I didn't put it back on the charger after I was playing w/ it at spiece (trying to figure out why it works sometimes perfectly & why other times it insists on "searching for satellites" which is really obnoxious.
So needless to say I was bummed. When you have a workout plan & it goes to sh*t..not good. BUT then I had the wonderful idea that my ipod has a stopwatch on it so I kind of guessed when I had went 8 min based on the time and then set it & ran for the last 5 minutes.
Running is kind of a complicated thing b/c my goals are to have a 10 min mile and to be able to run 3 miles. I can never decide if I should train for time or distance or a combo.
I've added a little challenge in my 50 day push. I wrote out 10 running workouts so hopefully I will be up to 3 miles!! Yay!! I think when I do shorter distances I'm going to go for time (1/2 mile in 5 min) and when I go longer distances I will work on pace to get my endurance up. That is what makes sense to me, but it's hard to train for 2 different aspects of the same thing.
On the bright side I LOVE my mizunos. They are so comfy & it's like running on air. The start of my knee problems back in march may have been b/c I was running on ancient shoes! And I got a cute new under armour workout outfit.
I had a major issue falling asleep last night. I was literally wide awake @ 1:30am. I haven't had that happen in forever..especially after I run. I'm blaming my shakeology as the culprit. But I looked this morning & it doesn't have any "caffeine" but tones of B vitamins. B/n that and the endorphins I was just really happy & awake. I HAVE to start doing that in the morning..gee whiz.
Umm..my arms are starting to look hot! I love CLX. And so are my legs. I have lost 3 inches off each thigh..seriously. And I can kind of start to see *some* abs!! I will settle for a relatively flat stomach. I don't have to be all ripped out w/ a 6 pack. I just want less overall chub & maybe some curves.
Tomorrow is Friday..yay! And the start of my 50 day 2-a-day push!! So I will be blogging my food & workokuts!!
