So I heard back from my chiropractor today. I haven't gone into the office yet, but I'm working full-time for the rest of the week when I get back into pullman, and I dont have next weeks schedule yet, but I said to schedule me as much as I can be. So that will probably end up as full time too. So my chiropractor just told me over the phone some of the things that showed up in the MRI.
I have 3 bulging discs, at L4, L5, and S1, and it looks like T5 is susceptible to bulging. And I'm still not entirely sure what a bulging disc is... From my understanding, it's similar to a herniated disk except that it occurs over time and not from an immediate injury. And that it hurts. Lol. And all that pooled together equals some handy dandy disc/spine degeneration. That isn't supposed to show up, if it happens, in people until they are in their 40's. And my favorite part, it doesn't go away.
So I have a question for anyone with a bad back or bad joints. I was doing a little research on my own, and I have found SpiderTape and Kensio Tape. Does anybody know how reliable this is? I've read some pretty convincing reviews, and I think I'm going to talk to my chiropractor about it, but does it work? Is it legit? Worth my money?
Anyway, sorry I didn't get back to the people who offered walks/exercise in seattle! I ended up having to detail my car. Which no longer has bug guts on it and had WAY too much stuff spilled on my carpet. And I'm heading back across the mountains tomorrow. :/ So a full day sitting in my car. Ouch. Thank goodness for Motrin!
