Good strong Curves workout this morning. Well, that last lb is STILL hangin on, but something I recently heard really made sense... Don't look at how far you have to go, but at how far you've come and Celebrate at what you have achieved so far! Sometimes we can be too hard on ourselves. I broke down and had my Curves Weigh and Measure this morning. Supposed to have it done once a month... well.. I've been so bad... hadn't had one done since APRIL!!! Cause I've been off plan til recently and was afraid to see the damage. Happy to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Gained a half an inch here or there, but happy that I DID lose .75 inches in my abdomen and .50 inches total in my arms. Any loss is a good loss. So we press on. Not gonna look at it as a failure...

Rather... I choose to look at my before picture on my sparkpage and "Celebrate how far I've come".

Great advice that I have to take myself frequently and that I share as often as possible. It is so easy to look at how close or far the finish line is, rather that focusing on the fact that we have come so far we can barely, or maybe not at all, see the starting line!

Keep up the great work - Deb!

I think your attitude is great. You are celebrating how far you've come and I think it's exciting that you were off plan a little while and still continued to show changes. That last pound will be the hardest, but you've come so far that I would try not to dwell on it too much. It'll come off. In the meantime you'll just be feeling better and better.

Congrats on not giving up and just hanging in there.
