Never Borrow From The Future......

Monday, August 09, 2010

This is something that I really have to work on.....

If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have worried twice.

Worry is my nemesis. I have to talk myself out of it. I had to learn how to think things through. Cognitive therapy, I think it was called. I can tell you a couple of books really helped me. Just a thought. In the meantime I hope the wind will blow your worries away

And we know that worry means stress. Stress adds to our weight problems and so on. Usually every day has enough unto itself.

I believe that there is a value in considering:
what ifs,
best and worst case scenarios,
considering your options,
and then formulating a plan a & plan b.
After that, you can rest easy because you'll know what you need to do 'in the event of' something happening.
It's like a fire drill, you hope it never happens, but if it does, everyone knows how to handle it.
