Okay, things have gotten out of hand. Your enthusiasm for cooking, eating well, and exercise has plummeted! :( I think you've gotten a little too comfortable with your weight, not to say that you haven't made a ton of progress already! However, you do still have a goal of losing ten more pounds and to make your habits a LIFESTYLE, not just an attempt to lose weight! You've lost your "habits" and motivation. It's time to get them in full swing again!
Today, you've begun by logging on to Sparkpeople and accurately tracking your food intake, as well as reading other Sparkpages for motivation (and that's why you're writing this blog, after all!) You've looked at before/after photos of those who have the same goals as yourself and that put it all back into perspective for you. You were on AllRecipes looking for healthier recipes to make, and decided to eat more vegetables for dinner time tonight.
Later tonight: If you do have a drink, make it one or two tonight. Ask Cory if he wants to go for a walk, bike ride, rollerblading...whatever to get you both out of the house and to give yourself some exercise! Make sure you're full after dinner so you don't snack a lot later! If Cory gets something to eat, it doesn't mean that you have to too -- KEEP THAT IN MIND (major weakness)!
Today is just one day -- let this blog motivate you all week! Use your summer break to make yourself healthy meals, and since you've been on such a cooking kick lately! You've been doing really awesome in keeping your protein low by making meatless meals, keep this up too! Go for a jog at least once this week. Maybe go rollerblading, if you're up for it after that nasty fall last week. Do one Turbo Jam workout -- you love those! Walk to Albertson's to get some produce for your "meatless meal" you're going to make. Set your healthy lifestyle back in motion STARTING TODAY!
Some goals (maybe already mentioned):
1-2 meatless meals
Turbo Jam once
Walk to Albertson's for produce
No more fast food or dining out until the weekend (you just splurged in SD!)
Limit the booze
Yoga/Stretch session once
Lose ONE pound
These should keep you looking ahead! You know that if you lose just one pound this week, you'll be THRILLED! It's just one pound, you can do it :) And then do it again next week! Who knows, maybe it'll be two pounds, then you'll be ultra-thrilled! DO IT, no excuses! These goals aren't that challenging!
