Ok - so the first week on the program I lost 7 lbs and that truly made me decide that this (sparkpeople) is definitely going to be the life change that I need and the tools that I need to obtain my goals. I've been very diligent about tracking my food and trying to get in as much exercise as possible with my current work and school schedule.
I'm three weeks in now and I haven't lost another pound yet. I'm trying to stay motivated and diligent. I'm glad that I have told people about my intent and that I have the ultimate goal of being at my goal weight by February 2011. Had I not made solid commitments, I might do my "normal" thing that usually do 3 weeks into a diet and that is --- pretty much give up. I'M NOT GOING TO DO IT THIS TIME! I'm changing my habits for me. I want to be healthier and more active.
I'm using the measuring cups and measuring spoons now and i even bought a digital scale to make sure that I am tracking more accurate calories. Maybe next week I'll lose a stubborn pound or two!! WISH ME LUCK!
