Sunday: I didnt' do anything this past sunday, as I had a bootcamp on Saturday, and my body was so incredibly sore. To the point that walking and even sitting to go to the bathroom was very painful. So I relaxed and let my body heal some.
monday- My neighbor and I went running. we did
5min brisk walk warm up
3min walking briskly
3 min walking briskly
24 minutes brisk walking and cooling down
total mileage: 3.21 miles in 50 minutes
burned 457 calories! :)
Tuesday- I had to work the early shift at the group home to fill in for someone. then I had play date (don't work on tuesdays). during my play date however we took the kids to the park and my girlfriend and i did some squats as i was showing her what we did in boot camp, and also walked around the jungle gym for 8minutes burning 43 calories. I had to stop as i wasnt' wearing proper foot gear and my shoes were giving me a blister!
Wednesday- my neightbor and I did our morning run. the routine was:
5 minute brisk warm up
8 minutes running
5 minutes brisk walk
8 minutes running
19 minutes cool down brisk walk
mileage:3.18 45minutes 467 calories.
The thing about this walk was it was sooooo unusually humid in the early morning. breathing was a true challenge. and I was drenched with sweat like no other time.. when we walked out our back doors to meet we looked at each other and couldnt' believe how thick the air was. but i told him, I'm going with or without you.. and he never lets me down! :)
Thursday- Today I went by myself! I didn't want to! lol.. but i did it! I had a late start. mark came home late from work so i couldn't leave right away. I left the house probably close to quarter to 6. the routine i did today was
5min brisk walk
8 min running
I couldnt' go much longer as time was of the essence. I have to be at work at 730am.
Mileage: 2.72 mi (sad i didnt' get 3) 37.58 minutes and 400 calories burned
