After several attempts, I finally reached my Weight Watchers goal on July 26, 2010. I need to be confronted with the scale every week and the company that I work for has brought Weight Watchers to work. Now, I really don't have too many excuses to miss meetings (and weigh-ins).
SparkPeople really helped tremendously and I urge everyone to get on the scale every Monday and weigh in with someone. It helps me to really watch my portion sizes on the weekend. I can still weigh in but now I don't have to pay for meetings as long as I stay within 2 lbs of my goal weight. They say that people who attend meetings on Monday or Tuesday are the most successful losers.
My Sparks Goal is 4 lbs less than I am right now, which can work with Weight Watchers since I'm at the high end of the weight range for my height and weight. OK - I really wanted to talk about this since it has made me really happy and now I just have to come up with a way to celebrate (without food).
I believe the WW meetings and Sparks will help me to lose a little more and also maintain the loss.
One more thing, I added a little jogging to my daily walk and I'm able to add more and more each day. Well, I guess I could save that for another blog. Talk with you soon. Joanne
