(Missed water aerobics yesterday)
Even though I missed my water aerobics class last night, I still feel like I had a successful day yesterday. It was one of those very full days with lots of action and people going on – I loved it! I hope to get to the pool tonight. In August, I am playing a version of Battleship and in order to get a guess, I need to burn 300 calories. I am also doing this with my buddy from the summer camp challenge on SP so I will need to work on this. This site sure know keeps me busy! LOL In additionto being busy, I am learning a lot; in fact, I am learning so much I decided to start Trivia Tuesday to share what I am learning. Here is what I learned about those 'dreaded carbs' from SP.

Carbohydrates should make up 45% - 65% of the total daily calories in a healthy diet. At least 130 grams of carbohydrate should be included in the diet to prevent ketosis. Whenever possible, replace highly processed/refined grains, cereals, and sugars with minimally processed whole-grain products.

TRUE: Carbohydrates are necessary for the regulation of nerve tissue and are the ONLY source of energy for the brain
I actually got one right! How did you do? I do the Trivia most days, and I actually learn more when I get the answers wrong because then I look at the SP answer.
