    Hi Stronger Seniors,

It is important to stretch out that leg as far as possible without pain.

With this movement, like all exercise, you need to pay attention to your body. Do not just go through the motions. Do your FEEL the stretch? Where in your body?
If you do not feel it, the benefit is lessened.

Move that leg out to the point where you feel the tendons and ligaments stretching without pain. After a while you will be able to move it out further. That's where the progress lies.

Stay strong,
Anne

    Anne
This does stretch out the areas of concern-thigh, lumbar, upper back. I'll repeat it often at intervals during the day.

Thanks
Jeanette

It will help, Cynthia, but for losing fat in your middle, see the other Core Fitness clip - Abdominals.

Good luck!

I think what aids me in doing this wonderful movement is when one of my cats walks under the stretched out leg! LOL LOL
