Anne: You are providing just what I need to get back into shape. I find the videos I have been using mak me so sore, I give up. It is important to stretch out that leg as far as possible without pain.
With this movement, like all exercise, you need to pay attention to your body. Do not just go through the motions. Do your FEEL the stretch? Where in your body? If you do not feel it, the benefit is lessened.
Move that leg out to the point where you feel the tendons and ligaments stretching without pain. After a while you will be able to move it out further. That's where the progress lies.
Anne, I also bookmarked the Abdominal video clip...haven't tried it yet, because I've been in a lot of pain yesterday and today...but it's on my calendar for the next good day!
