After gaining a few pounds, I started reading motivation articles here on SP to get me back on track. My plan is working very well and I'm doing very well now. Even though I am very active on SparkPeople and eating very healthy and exercising regularly, I was eating foods that were not good for me also, thus the weight gain.
When trying to refocus, the articles are a great start. But I have to admit, it is the motivational articles from SP members that help me the most. I like reading about what steps they took to get where they are going. It always starts with baby steps and before you know it, they are running to their goals. Then I get to read how they are feeling when meeting their goals. I'm so glad that I know how that feels. It is absolutely wonderful when you feel strong and healthy, especially when you are 56 years old! I feel better physically then I did in my 20's, 30's and even 40's!!!
And I don't ever want to lose that feeling...
