Moving Rocks

Sunday, August 01, 2010

This video is showing the overflow to our pond. From the overflow there is a little creek that I have been digging out and lining with rocks. Just thought I would show you some of my fitness.

We used to have a creek behind our apartment when we lived in Mass. many years ago and I loved listening to the running water!! THAKS FOR BRINGING BACK THOSE PLEASANT MEMORIES! XO MARYANN

Your stream will be gurgling over those rocks with a lovely cheerful sound --

It's a huge amount of work, but I can see the appeal.

And: your biceps and shoulders and back must have muscles of steel!!

No wonder you've been losing those pounds! Has Weaver been helping?

I like to play with rocks too. We live in the Texas hill country and our back yard grows rocks.

Oh, how neat. I've moved rocks before myself. Also spread load after load of dirt on our yard. Both are quite a workout. You are going to get to look back on this lovely little creek one of these days and brim with pride that YOU DID IT. Thanks for sharing. Love it!
