I lost about 28 pounds when I committed myself to following the SparkPeople program. I started June 22, 2008 and by July 2009 -- I was fitting into size 12 jeans, feelin' great! I felt more comfortable in my clothes because there weren't a bunch of fat rolls under and over my jeans waist band, and I could breathe! Oh, I still had some fat rolls -- don't get me wrong, but they were normal.... female-over-50 rolls... emoticon.

Well, my weight is creeping up again. I wrote in my journal.." that when I followed a program, a plan and had a goal in my life.... I was successful." So I have rededicated myself to following a program for my health and my comfort and my self esteem. I have to keep in mind that I'm worthy and worth the time it takes to keep up with a program.

This time I am following one of the suggestions of SparkPeople, that it helps sometimes to start over with a new goal and a new tracker. My goal was from 190 - to 148 and I got down to 158.

This time I am starting at 174 -- my goal weight is 158.

158 may be my ideal weight, 148 may be an unrealistic goal, I'll go for the 158 ---see how it feels and how it works. I am also keeping in mind that I may gain some muscle weight... cause I'm recommitting to working out too. In my previous goal of 148 -- I didn't consider that muscle weighs more than fat.

    good luck. I know that you will do it. Remember to follow the program. I just started over and I have already lost 2 lbs. I know that this program works.
