Keeping up the Momentum

On Thursday when I weighed I realized I had reached a major milestone...My first 10 pounds lost. I was so happy and so pleased. Honestly, I didn't think that I would lose anymore weight in the next few days because I was so pleased I may have splurged just a bit. Went out to Cracker Barrel to eat on Friday night, let up on the walking because of rain...these are just a few things that I slacked off on towards the end of the week.

This morning I weighed again and, much to my surprise, I have lost more weight. I'm now down 11.5 pounds. This is amazingly encouraging. Now it's all about not losing momentum. I need to keep going, full steam ahead. I'm searching YouTube right now for workout vids that I can do over the weekend, since I can really only walk during my work week. All I have to do is just keep this up...Keep doing what I'm doing now. If I can keep the momentum and not get complacent then just maybe I will achieve my long term goals.
