Day 194 sorry I have been awol

Saturday, July 31, 2010

I have been here but not Here! Does that make any sense? I have been tracking and such but I have been having a lot of problems with my health and have not really had too much to say as I did not know what was going on. I hate waiting for doctors and test results, but i also hate getting the results when they are not good. I wanted to know what was wrong but all I was getting was what was not wrong. Well, I finally got a result and it looks like I will probably be having some bowel surgery done. I have an appointment on the 11th of August with a surgeon. It seems I have a mass or blockage in my upper small bowel and it cannot be reach by endoscopy or by colonoscopy so they will have to go in to determine exactly what is there. The doc says it could be just scar tissue but she does not think it is as I have had no surgery in that area. So, I just get to wait some more to find out as my imagination thinks up all kinds of scary stuff it could be!!

Hi Nancy, I can imagine that it's hard to be enthusiastic about Sparking, when you're concerned about your health at the moment. Let's pray that the surgeons can remove the blockage and find that it's nothing to worry about.
