The evolution of a belly

Friday, July 30, 2010

After my most recent progress pics I was amazed at how my body has morphed in the past 3 years. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I wish I had some photos in the pounds between 167-135, from when I began on SP... but alas I hid (especially my belly) from the camera.

Before picture. Hubby and I in Vancouver. I got pregnant the week after this photo was taken.

9 months pregnant with my daughter. I loved my big round pregnant goddess belly!

Last August after being on SP for 5 months. I had lost a little over 30 pounds by this time. I never thought I would wear that bikini again. (Now it is too big)!

In early May. I was feeling good then. I was at about 119 in these pictures, and had BF of 24% or so.

Late July. Same weight (maybe even a touch more), but have been focusing on lowering my body fat. Here I am at 21.5%. What a difference!

It is just phenomenal how much the human body can change. Especially a mother's body! I never thought it possible to have a better body post baby, but now I am a believer!
