Just a Tiny Bit Disappointed

So I did my Friday weigh in this morning. I was just a tiny bit disappointed by it. Even though I was still emoticon .4 lbs (bringing me to 140.6), I felt like it should have been at least a solid 1 pound! Oh well. Don't get me wrong I was so so happy that the number was down and not up, but all through out the week the number had fluctuated and got as low as 140... but on weigh day...Noooooo... only a whopping POINT 4.



I am also a bit disappointed in my "Operation Drink my 8 Glasses of Water" that I started this week. It lasted all of Ohhhhh... 2 days! Why can't I get my 8 glasses in anyway? Any suggestions?



Please send out "Good Luck" Vibes today to my son, Trey. He has an interview at Chuck E. Cheese's this afternoon. He realllllly needs this job so he can save money for a car. This toting him around and him using my car business is getting old. This is at the same Chuck E. Cheese that I worked at when I was 16 years old. HA!



Well...it IS Friday and thank gawwwd for that. For some reason this has been one long week!

    Hope he gets the job!!

Try extra hard to concentrate on drinking water. Pick a place to keep your bottle and everytime you pass that place take a drink. I never have a problem because I drink 1-2 gls of coffee in the morning and then water the rest of the day. Sometimes I just down half a bottle.

    You're doing great - just stick with it!!

I bought a cup for it with a straw - I drink more that way for some reason. That or I use one bottle of water and refill throughout the day. I carry it around at work and honestly do better getting my water in there than I do on weekends at home. I formed a habit of taking a sip while gathering my thoughts to respond to coworkers and it has helped with the water and with reducing the number of times I stick my foot in my mouth, I think. LOL!

    Have no idea why, but when I drink water with a straw, I drink more! I also find that it helps me to add lemon, lime, or orange slices to a pitcher of water in the fridge.

    Finger's Crossed that the Interview goes well, and Water is something I just DO. For every cup of Coffee I can't do without (I don't drink anything else), I make a glass of water with it. Put that sucker right there beside it and can't have another Coffee until the Water's gone. emoticon

    I hope your son gets the job!!

I have my own special mugs - gigantic ones so I know how many times a day I have to fill it them to get my water in. I also know at what time of the day I should have taken in how many glasses so I keep track.

You are doing fantastic! I wish I weighed 140 pounds!!

    I'm with Angie, that's what I do! Or I buy a case of bottled water for my car and carry those with me. Try putting fresh lemon in it or even drinking plain lipton tea. I count tea as water and a lot of other people do too!

And great job being down, even if it's only .4, better than nothing!

    Buy a pretty 32 oz water bottle and carry it with you everywhere. Drink 2 of those and you're set for the day. And be proud of losing those .4 pounds. Happy Friday!
