It was a good day, I was out by 4.30 am walking and getting my exercise...
it was cool and quiet, no snakes this morning but the coyotes were there, then they always are lurking..

The new girls at work told me I was so petite, and she feels like an amazon around
I just smiled..she is almost 6 feet tall.
We had a pancake breakfast, they call it the grandslam brunch, I cal it death by carbs.....I brought my own lunch and so did one of the ladies in my ceramic class, I did not even miss any of it, I must admit I'm not much of a breakfast food eater....before Sparkpeople I never ate breakfast....I would stop at McDonalds and get a sausage biscuit and orange juice, but that was a very long time ago.....and I sure don't miss the stomach aches that went with that rubbish.......

Gary and I got our pictures taken , they won't be ready till Aug 14th, then we can go pick out what ones we want...I'm hoping they come out good....
I was a bit dissappointed as the pretty pink sweater I was going to wear was too fact all the nice , dressy clothes I have are too big, now thats a good thing but I can't afford a whole new wardrobe right now....I told Gary about it, and then said I guess I'm going to ahve to eat more , and he laughed really hard and said you already eat 6-7 times a day now, when would you find the time......he is right but it sure sounds funny to hear that......

well you all have a healthy week end
I have CPR class tomorrow and then I need to get some shopping done, maybe oick up a few new sweaters oo blouse.....I have to have something to wear in case we go out to some place never know

Kitt, That is great that you need new dressy clothes. I agree with the others, try to find stuff on sale. That way you can buy more--LOL. Take care! :) Bren emoticon emoticon

    Hi Kitt,

emoticon on your comment... death by carbs, I really got a kick out of this statement

What fun, to shop because clothes are to big, so much better than the other way around.

Make it a good one

I hope the pictures are great too!

Do you have some nice second hand stores near you?
They have some great bargains.

How nice it is to hear from others that you are small or petite!

good luck with the shopping on a tight budget. My way around that is to take a trip into some good thrift/consignment shops to see if anything catches my eye!

You have a good weekend, too, Kitt.

Omigosh, Gary is so funny!!! emoticon

Having all the dressy clothes too big is a very nice problem to have, Kitt. It might be time to start watching for the sales and pick up a few things here and there.

I can relate, too -- I've "ungrown" the few dressy things I had, and I have absolutely nothing except jeans at the moment. That's fine for me, however, because I'm not at goal yet.

Hope you have a good rest of the week!

Have a great weekend. Good luck finding some new clothes and maybe you should get some of your old favorites taken to last a little longer.
