Well, I'm shattered! Talk about a busy start to the day. :-)
I have completed:
10 minute walk - Week 3 day 3 Warm Up for Walking Plan
Active Health Stats:
Pace - 21 min mile (pleased with this)
Calories - 47
Steps - 1184
Time - 0:11:09
Distance - 0.53 miles
I've been thinking about this, and when you take into account the time over the ten minutes used to get from my DSi to my front gate to start the walk, and the reverse to get back into the house and get my pedometer out of my pocket to record the session, I reckon my actual speed is more likely a 20 min mile. Also, I do about five minutes of warm up exercises before I head out for my walk, which I always forget to add to my count. :-)
Week 2 Day 6 Bootcamp Workout Challenge.
Upper body. Hard work but I do like this one. :-)
Plus the bonus Bootcamp video for the second time. I didn't read the email properly and didn't realise I had to do the bonus video twice in the week. LOL
So, hello again Mr. 15 minute Desk Workout!
Full body, and don't I know it! My poor arms! There is this bit where you do wall push-ups with your thumbs and forefingers touching in order to work the triceps, (I think she said triceps) and zowee! How do you explain the sensation after you have done about three or four of those! Not pain exactly, but it involves huge amounts of arm shakings every two or three reps to shake it off. LOL
I am going to try and keep this video in my repertoire for a while to see if I can improve on it over time. I'm not sure what is in store for weeks three and four of the bootcamp challenge, but I am going to try and fit this video in at least once, maybe twice a week if I can.
Still to do: Short walk to the Co-Op and trampoline/step exercises. Good old Tigger! I don't know where I'd be without him. :-)
On my Land's End to John O'Groats challenge I will reach Truro today (was a mile and a half short yesterday). If I recall correctly, my prize will be a Cornish Pasty recipe! Having been born and raised in Cornwall, and having lived in Truro for many of those years, I have a deep abiding passion for a good Cornish Pasty! Yum!
Well, I have just finished munching on my breakfast - a well-deserved bowl of porridge with cooked apple chunks on top, so I am going to head off to the shop, get the milk, and then see what the rest of my day has in store for me. I see a fair bit of sewing in the cards.... :-)
Hope everyone has a great day!
