I've almost reached one goal!

Monday, July 26, 2010

So I have already had ups and downs on this getting healthy journey, but I am so close to my first goal! I am a measly 1.4 pound away form losing 10 pounds and it is so exciting I wanna get up and run it off right now lol!! IT's basically a third of my goal give or take a few pounds HA. I have been using the 30 day shred every other day and then mainly Firm on the other days. I have also almost completely quit smoking. Now, I am having issues with some of my smoking rituals mainly. I purchased an electronic cigarette to help me quit and it is awesome. I am still having my morning real cigarette, but I'll give that one up at some point I know it! I'll probably give it up when my fella gets his e-cigarette. Then there wont be any for me to smoke in the house anyway! Other than that I'm not smoking during the day at all :) It's gonna be a good day. I'm crazy motivated right now and I just had my one month Sparkiversary. Have a great day y'all! emoticon emoticon

Haha Thanks! I think I can hit my 10 pounds mark in a few weeks (I'm only shooting for about a 1/2 pound a week). Now the next 20 will probably be tougher :) I know I'm bound to hit that plateau sooner than later so I'm gearing up for it! Expect the worst and hope for the best lol

Good for you for doing things to get healthier! Giving up smoking is so very hard and you're on your way to being smoke free. Fantastic.

Be patient with the weight. My experience was that those last few pounds were almost velcroed in place on the hips! LOL But with persistance you'll meet your goal.
