So I have this strength training routine set up for me at my gym, which is great and all except I haven't been there to do it since the 10th. (I've had no problem getting all my runs in, though. But isn't that the way it always seems to work? Doing one thing consistently means something else gets dropped...) So I knew I really really really needed to go in today and get it done.
But I really really really REALLY didn't want to. For all the usual reasons... I was tired, I was hungry, I had things to do at home, blah blah blah. So first I called my husband from work and complained to him about it, then came home and complained to him some more, then called ROYABOYA on the way to the gym and complained to her too. But they are both awesome and didn't let me give any excuses.
And for the record?
I feel GREAT. Going to the gym was exactly the right thing to do.
