I'm not missing you at all- ok well maybe a little bit...

Wednesday, July 21, 2010

So it has been about a month since I had 10 inches chopped off my hair... and I really don't miss it at all... well... ok maybe I do. It is great when I want to dry it or toss it up in a baseball hat to not have to mess with all that length. It's amazing how much lighter my head feels too. But there are times when I go all "awwwwwwwwwww" and think of the killer french braid I used to be able to do, or the super long pony tail. I still have enough to put it up in a pony tail, but people at work tell me I look like I'm in college when I have it up- wait- is that a bad thing? I guess not- but it's not like I have a choice in it- the hair is gone-
Missing my hair? How silly huh? I mean, it's only hair- it'll grow back... if I want it to.

I know exactly what you mean! I'm prone to cutting my hair on impulse, telling myself that it's just hair and it will grow back. Then I always regret not having it longer. I don't think it's silly to have different moods and emotions about your hair at all. I think for women hair is very closely linked to our self image. Oh and by the way...I totally support looking like your still in College!! ;-)

Thanks you two for the great posts- I think I was just in one of those moods yesterday- this morning I'm loving the hair short because with the humid weather it's not as crazy as it used to be when it was long! ~grin~
    Thanks again!!!!

just wait it out, your hair will come back again, better that than the pounds lost.

If it was growing anyplace else on your body, you would be thrilled that you have less of it!! It's all relative...
This hot weather makes it a smart chice,, you can always let it grow out for winter!! emoticon emoticon
