Starting over again, and again, and again

Really, is this any surprise. I think I can do it on my own and I prove my self wrong. Well on a good note I finally did quit the smoking habit. Yeah Me! , Now for the reality check, I gained back 31 pounds of the weight lost so I am not exactly starting at ground zero but sure feels like that after the weekend. I spent a couple of days in the hospital with chest pain and high BP. Yep, everything is fine except new meds, lots of followups and oh yes really looking forward to my Doc seeing the weight come back on :)
So back to watching the food intake, water and since I am participating in the cancer walk this weekend I am not setting any fitness goals until next week. Not looking for excuses just results so off I go to find another water bottle and get my head in the game here.

    emoticon on starting over !! Alot of people give up and never try but it takes more Courage to start over and try again . I am at the same point starting over again after losing weight and regaining most of it due to stress and other things . I am determined to do it this time and also comforted to see someone else who understands the struggle and is also beginning again . Hang in there !! emoticon

    Just don't quit and you will not have failed.

    I am with you and Smiley up and down up and down. I start off good then lose the focuse.
    Congrats on being smoke free and for coming back. If you can quit the smoking you can stay with this.

    Congrats on finding your way back! I would also chalk some of those pounds up to quitting smoking, which is a HUGE accomplishment!

    Starting over is better than stopping for good by dieing. Staying on program is the goal of course. Congrats on stopping the smoking. Now that you are re-starting your eating/exercise program you may be tempted to smoke again. DON'T!

    Take a look at the reasons behind not staying on program. Write instead of bite. Then realize you have the strength within you to face life and stay strong on your commitment to yourself. emoticon

    Both on the gaining back the weight and on the getting frustrated with the vicious cycle... emoticon

    What can you do...

    Try to stay focused. That's what I say to myself.
    I hope we can both manage to just stay focused emoticon emoticon
